Catching you early with a friendly reminder to get picky this week – and really, for the rest of your days! Be aware of what activities and responsibilities bring a smile to your face and which ones stress you out.
You WILL be asked to do stuff – at work, from your child’s school, and from family and friends. Practice turning people down, “No, I cannot help this time around.” It’s rare that anyone would respond “Why not?!” to your “No,” so don’t hesitate to protect yourself, your time and your energy.
Think about it this way, when you decline a request it opens the door for someone ELSE to say, “Yes!” ☺
