Today is Monday – and yes, my favorite day – however, returning from a business trip requires a bit of extra work come Monday.
Use these tips for re-entry into the daily requirements, like thinking about your schedule, organizing the appointments, the kids and the meal-planning. Remember to:
– Smile often (keep your sense of humor)
– Talk out loud
– Make a list of ONLY 3 THINGS that you are certain to get done!
– Reward yourself after accomplishing your list (a treat, a phone call, or time on your social media)
Keep moving forward. Now is NOT the time to go back into last week’s TO DO. You must clear out the “stuff” from the trip, the immediate tasks in front of you, and the high priority back-into-your-life demands. You can do this.
